Dr. Lyndell St. Ville is a former teacher of mathematics and physics at St. Mary’s College, and former lecturer at Monroe College and at The UWI Global Campus in Saint Lucia.
He is community-minded and has a passion for improving equality and standards. He was previously a Community Governor at the Priory Woods Special Needs School in Middlesbrough, which served students with profound and multiple learning disabilities. During that time, he completed a course in British Sign Language to help him communicate directly with deaf students.
Lyndell is an entrepreneur who mobilizes technology to enhance development and close innovation gaps by designing, developing, and strengthening systems in the public and private sectors. He started his own ICT business, Datashore, which provides skilled ICT consulting, advisory and development services across the Caribbean region and has successfully completed projects from Belize in Central to Guyana in South America.
He is a board member of the Saint Lucia Coalition of Service Industries, he has served as president of the ICT Association of St. Lucia, and is a member of the ICANN At-Large Community. He previously chaired the Supervisory Committee of the Civil Service Cooperative Credit Union, and is a Caribbean Development Educator.
